Finn’s Fury is a New York based band of Celtic ROCK hooligans with the knack of writing, arranging and just plain playing the best Celtic Rock in the world that I have received over the past year. This is THE Celtic Rock act that you would need to hear to understand how the music is supposed to be played. “What About Ya?” has some of my personal favorite versions of songs like “Sam Hall”, “The Green Fields Of France”, and “The Auld Triangle”…. and of course one of the most explosive tracks on the disc that seems to be requested like crazy over here at Paddyrock.com with “The Kesh Jig”. Finn’s Fury is a band of overly talented musicians that has been producing the best Celtic Rock for over a decade. “What About Ya?” captures them at their height, and after just one listen… you are coming back for more.

When you're looking for a different sort of Irish music, look no further than Finn's Fury. You have been warned - this isn't your typical "Danny Boy." Finn's Fury is a high energy, foot stompin' Celtic/Irish rock band. They play a variety of different tunes, ranging from ballads, jigs, reels, tribal, rock and even a touch of punk...and within all of that, they created their very own signature sound.
Finn's Fury Brings Celtic Rock to Concert Series
"Irish band performs at New York Avenue beach."
New York Avenue beach was abuzz Wednesday evening with the sounds of Irish music performed with a heavy dose of rock.
Finn's Fury played to an enthusiastic crowd as part of the City of Long Beach’s concert series. Among the highlights were the band’s explosive version of Jonny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” and the Celtic classic “The Kesh Jig.”
The Merrick-based Finn's Fury characterizes its sound as "Urban Celtic Fusion Rock,” and the fervent Long Beach audience soaked up their music and danced the night away. More information about Finn's Fury can be found at the band's website and facebook page. ~ JW/JK"

Truly an up and coming band that will blow people's kilt hose off! Don't be surprised if you hear a little Irish Johnny Cash, as "Ring of Fire" is indeed on their first album. O'Doom (Bass and Lyrics) does a great job on this debut album! Calum is fantastic on Celtic fiddle, as well as pipes. In fact, Calum was the first American to be invited to the Glenfidditch Fiddle Championships in Scotland. Do yourselves a favor and snatch this one up!
